This release introduces new features and improvements designed to streamline your workflow and enhance productivity.

1 - Auto-close app after ticket creation

  • A new setting is now available that allows the app window to close once a ticket is created automatically.

  • This option can be enabled or disabled from the Settings page, offering a more seamless user experience.

2 - Admin configuration to prevent multiple ticket creation from same email

  • Admins can now configure the system(from the addon's General Settings section in Jira) to block the creation of multiple tickets from a single email. 

  • This helps reduce duplication and ensures better ticket management.

3 - Enhanced Email Tracking After Ticket Creation

      To help you better track which emails have already been converted into tickets, we’ve introduced the following enhancements:

  • Email Tagging: After a ticket is created, a blue category, "Jira plugin for Outlook," is automatically applied to the original email to mark it visually.

  • Issue Key in Subject: The related issue key is now appended to the email subject line. This makes it easier to spot processed emails at a glance and avoid duplicate ticket creation.

4- Email Automation Rules

  • Eliminate repetitive clicks! With Email Automation Rules, you can now automatically determine the default Jira project and issue type to be selected based on the sender’s email address or domain,

    • ⏳ Save valuable time by skipping manual selection

    • ✅ Guarantee consistency across issues created via email

    • ⚙️ Easily configure rules for individuals or entire domains

5- Bug Fixes

  • Some Issues resolved for DC instances Jira 10

  • Resolved the Create screen reload issue.

  • Fixed the incorrectly cleared Summary field value issue

  • Restored access to Find Issues screens for Data Center customer accounts.

  • Corrected several translation errors.

  • Various other minor bug fixes and stability improvements.

6 - AI Features Now Supported on DC Instances

  • The AI features introduced in our previous release,  for Cloud are now available on Data Center as well:

    • AI Smart Create – Quickly fill create screen fields and create issues based on your Email content.

    • NL Issue Search – Search for issues using everyday language.

    • AI Content Refiner – Improve & Summarize the description or comments content.
